Herbert A. Gerard

passed away peacefully on July 18, 2020. He was born on August 17, 1932 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Herb served in The United States Navy and loved his country. Herb graduated with a degree in Mathematics from the University of Arizona in 1956. He worked as an engineer and retired from Boeing in 1998. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather. He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Gerard, mother, Irene Gerard, and brother, Bruce Gerard. He is survived by his wife of almost 61 years, Jeannette Gerard; his children Teri Gerard Neff (Bob), Tom Gerard (Linda), Tony Gerard (Mila), Stephen Gerard (Christine), his brothers Steve Gerard (Toni) and Joseph Gerard (Lorrie); his grandchildren Mike Neff (Bella), Jessica Neff, and Daniel Neff. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chander at 230 Galveston St. at 1:00PM on Tuesday July 27, 2020. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Salvation Army is appreciated.
