passed away on August 23,2022 surrounded by his family.

Frank was born in Ontario, California on October 1st, 1930. Frank joined the Airforce in 1950 and served 4 years and was discharged as a staff sergeant. He was proud that he was the first Mexican American to fly in an F16 fighter jet.

While stationed at Williams Airforce Base he met his wife Artimesa and settled in Chandler, Az. After the Airforce he continued to work at Williams Airforce base civil service as an aircraft electrician until he retired in 1985.

Frank lived in Chandler, Az for 70 years and also served on the Chandler city council for a few years.

Frank loved to golf and played many years with the LULAC golf league.

He was also a little league baseball coach in his early years. He was very much a handyman and enjoyed woodworking in his shop where he built furniture for family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife Artimesa Torres and daughter Frances Torres.

He is survived by his 2 children Mike and Bella,3 grandchildren Sonna, Anthony, Marcus and 3 great grandchildren Dartanyen, Isiah and Olivia.

Services will be held Wednesday August 31st at 11;00AM at St. Mary’s Catholic church. Private burial service.
