Earl W. Whoolery Sr.
Earl W. Whoolery, age 88 of Mesa, Arizona died on Wednesday, December 14, 2016.
He was born January 30,1928 in Fairchance, Pa to Earl Evans Whoolery and Jennie A Christopher Tanner.
His stepfather Edgar W. Tanner was a great part of his life also.
Earl was employed by Ward Baking Co. of Uniontown and retired from J I Case
Racine, Wisconsin.
He was a member of the Racine Masonic Belle City Lodge #18 as a Master Mason for 41 years. He was truly vested in his work for helping those in need.
Surviving is his loving wife, Iona L Kennison Whoolery of 70 years
and his daughter Sharon (Thomas)Betz of Mesa, Az.
He was predeceased by a son Earl W. Whoolery and daughter in law Susette in 2015.
His grandchildren Kerri Nugent, Jamie Betz, of Mesa and Raymond(Jill) and Earl (Janeen )Whoolery were a part of life that he enjoyed the most.
When it came to great grandchildren it was even more fulfilling Elizabeth, Julie, Jacob, Natalie, Evan, Ethan, Alora
and Devin.
Earl was surrounded by 13 wonderful brother and sisters.
Sherman(Nancy) Whoolery, Isa Mae(Joseph)Angel, Eleanor(Rich) Grimm, Thomas(Teresa) Tanner, Marlene(Gary) Sutton, Marvin(Sherry) Tanner, Mark(Cricket)Tanner Juanita(Charles)Weaver ,Kathy(Ralph) Kelly, sister in laws Doris Tanner, Judy Tanner, Joyce Tanner and Maryilyn Janosik
along with many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Daniel, Edgar, Milton, and Martin Tanner.
Bueler Funeral, Chandler, Arizona is handling arrangements.
He will be buried at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Fairchance, Pa.
