  • Heidi R E Posted October 10, 2017 6:52 AM

I am so sorry for your loss. May fond memories of Donna bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and smile at the fact that you were able to share these before she passed away. My hearts and prayers go out to you and your family. God has promised us that we will soon be reunited with our loved ones. “There is going to be a resurrection,” the Bible confirms at Acts 24:15. “Do not be amazed at this,” Jesus assures us, “for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29)

I had not heard the news of Donna’s passing until a few minutes ago, when I found out there will be a memorial for her in Brooklyn tomorrow. I am a defense attorney and had the pleasure of being Donna’s adversary on several occasions, just as recently as a few years ago. We had some great conversations during those times, covering everything from roller coasters (which I knew she loved) to our favorite television shows. She was one of the sweetest, most genuine, caring, and professional attorneys I have come across. I wish your family nothing but peace and good memories during this difficult time. Despite your sorrow, you should find solace in knowing what a special individual Donna was, and that her wonderful spirit will last with the many people she touched for the rest of their lives.

I just learned about Donna’s passing from our mutual friend Heide. I am so sad to hear about it. Donna was a good friend and I have a lot of fond memories of our times together.starting from our young teenage years at St. John’s and as adults. We lost touch through the years and I’m sorry about that. I’ve thought of her often. My condolences to the family, Dorothy, Greg, Deidre, and Debbie. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Donna was a friend of the connelly family. anne and frank connelly. also their son frank was a friend to donna. the last time i saw donna. (patrick connelly) was when she was a lawyer ( ada) at downtown brooklyn. i was a cop , had an arrest, and who handled the case was family friend, donna. donna, and deidre, and debra were such fun to be around. donna joined my family in a cabin at noyak, near sag harbor. what a loss, she was kinda shy, loved the beach, and i had a little crush on her. goodbye donna

I just learned of Donna’s death today. She was a good friend of mine in the late 60s and early 70s, but lost contact after at time when I moved from Brooklyn to Long Island. I am devastated to know that she passed without being able to re-connect with her and to have said goodbye.
