Brian Stevens

Born in Eastbourne, England on July 5, 1928, to a large family with four brothers and four sisters. His father (Fred Albert Stevens) a bricklayer mason and his mother (Lillian Grace Bourner) a homemaker.

As a young man, he joined the British military as a paratrooper and served in the middle east.

In the mid-1950s he brought his family (wife Mary and eldest sons Brian and David) to Los Angeles, California where he worked for the Los Angeles Times newspaper and later as a stockbroker for Paine Webber.

In the early 1960s, he settled in Huntington Beach, California, became a US citizen in 1969, and moved to Gilbert/Chandler Arizona in 1989.

Brian liked to hike, fish, read and do crossword puzzles.

He is survived by two brothers, Ken(Iris) and Frank(Gilly) and two sisters Maureen(Mick), Dorothy, five sons Brian(Lorraine), David, Ken(Mikyoung), Andrew(Mona), Graham(Sue), grandchildren Andrew(Gazmira), Neil, Natalie, Kyle, Glen, Kym, April, and great-granddaughter Nurianna. Nephews, nieces, and great-nephews/nieces are too many to list.

We will all miss his candor, wit, and humor.

Rest in peace Dad.
