Wendi Christine Tufts

June 13, 1968 – September 10, 2020

Wendi Christine Tufts, 52, unexpectedly returned to the arms of The Lord on September 10, 2020 in Chandler, Arizona.  Wendi was born in Phoenix, Arizona on June 13, 1968 to Charles Edward Gregory and Patricia Eileen Connelley. She graduated from Coronado High School in 1986 and University of Phoenix with a BS in Business Administration in 2007.  Wendi also received a Master Certificate in Government and Commercial Contract Management from Villanova University in 2009 as she was a Contracts Manager for twenty years.

Wendi was blessed to be married thirty years ago to the love of her life, Robert H. Tufts on October 20, 1990. Wendi is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob), a retired Scottsdale Police Detective, and their three amazing children, Amber (25), Alyssa (25) and Spencer (21). Wendi was a devoted wife and mother, who made her family the center of her world. As a native Arizonan, Bob and Wendi raised their children together in the Valley along with their many pugs.  Wendi is survived by her brother, John Gregory and two sisters, Ginger McConnell and Heidi Cole and their families as well as father-in-law Robert Hazen, mother-in-law Margot Tufts and brother-in law Jamie Tufts and his family.

Embodied by her favorite symbol of Wonder Woman, Wendi was a true warrior who beat breast cancer six years ago, while always focusing on raising awareness and support for others.  Wendi was extremely creative and intuitive which could be seen in her love of owls and the beautiful cultivated plants and flowers all around her.  She loved to scrapbook family memories with her children and was an award-winning Irish step dancer.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be sent to the Impact One Breast Cancer Foundation in Gilbert (https://impactone.pink/).

I’m so sorry for your loss. Wendi truly was the Wonder Woman she personified. She spoke bout Bob and the kids quite often, they were the center of her world. You are all in my heart ♥️.
