, 95, passed away Wednesday, July 4th, 2018 in Chandler, with

her family at her bedside. She was born October 6, 1922 in Russellville, Arkansas to

the late David Calvin Lloyd and Ila May (Shinn) Lloyd. She was a homemaker and

school baker.  She was an accomplished quilter and won several ribbons for her

quilts at the Montana state fair. Vivian was proud of her contribution to  the WWII

war effort as a “Rosie the Riveter,” working on the production line of the Lockheed P-38 Lightning fighter plane.  She was predeceased by her husband, Virgil Mack Watkins. She is survived by daughter Emily Joyce Watkins:  sons, David Lloyd Watkins (Edna), Kenneth Virgil Watkins (Pamela), Charles Keith Watkins (Margery); sister Glenda Sue (Lloyd) Martin; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandsons. Special thanks to caretakers Johnny and Rose at Mariposa MC assisted living and the staff of Shanti Hospice.

Visitation will be 6 – 8PM Monday, July 16, 2018 at the Chapel of Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Dr., in Chandler. Funeral service will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at The Church of Christ, 445 Alma School Rd. in Chandler.  Burial will follow at Valley of the Sun Cemetery.
