Steven Jonathan Westerman

42, of Gilbert, Arizona passed away on April 23, 2016 after a courageous battle with brain cancer.  Steven was born in Murray, Utah and raised in Sandy, Utah and Twin Falls, Idaho. Steven was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and at age 19 served a two year mission in Fresno, California. Steven went on to attend college at DeVry University and received his Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems. He was most recently employed as a Customer Interaction Solutions Senior Consulting Engineer with Nexus IS, Inc./Dimension Data. Steven met his wife Karin Gonda in 2010 and they were married March 23, 2013 in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. Steven loved technology, jazz music and was a food enthusiast, but his greatest joy was his wife Karin.  Steven is survived by his wife Karin,  parents Frank (the old man) and Marlene Westerman, grandmother Lucile Gillett, siblings Alice, Sid (Traci), Ramona, Rachel Hildreth, six nephews and numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by siblings Sylvia and Paul and grandparents Myron and Arvilla Westerman, Homer Gillett and Robert Young .  Memorial services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 21320 South Greenfield Road Gilbert, AZ 85298 on Saturday April 30th at Noon preceded by a viewing at 10am.  Arrangements by Bueler Mortuary. www.buelerchandlermortuary.com
