Shirley Joan (McDermed) Romine

age 83, was lovingly called home to her Heavenly Father on March 25, 2018 . She resided in Chandler, Arizona at the time of her passing. On a cold wintery morning Joan was born to William David McDermed and Zella Briggs in February 11, 1935 in Platville, Colorado. Shirley known by the name of Joan, was raised in a loving, happy home and lived her life sharing that love to those around her. Her kind disposition drew other to her. From childhood, Joan had a great love for music and in later years shared her talent by playing the piano at the LDS Church and at other events. She filled her life with fun and flowers, family, and friends and faith. She worked as an auto insurance supervisor for many years and treasured her friendship with her co-workers. Joan was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Doyle Romine, beloved son Kent, brothers Wray McDermed (Stella), Billie Gail MdDermed (Dorothy) and Wayne McDermed. She is survived by her sister in law, Joy McDermed (Wayne) and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 1:00 PM with viewing one hour prior at 12:00 noon at the LDS Church, McQueen building, 17817 South McQueen Road, Chandler, Arizona.
