How we loved Roy. i will never forget the day, while we were in the process of getting his house ready to sell, that I arrived to find Roy on a ladder painting the eves. Roy was 89 years old at the time! That was the day, he took me aside and said, can I tell you a secret, i said as long is it not about the house. he said, no, it’s fine. Then he said “I have a girlfriend. It is so wonderful. I feel like i am 16 years old again. He was, of course, speaking of Wilma. We also enjoyed some wonderful conversations with Roy on eschatology, as well as other Biblical topics back when we were in a small group together with Roy and Rose. We rejoice that Roy is home with his Savior and the two women in his life. we were blessed to know Roy.

What a joy to count Roy, Rose and Wilma among our precious friends. What jewels in the Kingdom and although heaven is richer, our lives are sadder. How glorious to have him pass peacefully into his Fathers arms.

I am so sorry to hear of Roy’s passing. His name is one I have heard throughtout the years as he was the person responsible for bringing my mom and dad together. He and my dad, Bill Mack, studied together at the Cincinnati Art Academy and the Pittsburgh Art Institute. I had purchased the book Roy wrote many years ago for my dad. I know it brought him great joy and memories reading it! I can’t tell you what it means to me now as a keepsake since my dad passed away on January 1, 2018. My mom, Doris (Campbell) Mack, passed away on January 29, 2019. I believe she died of a broken heart! RIP Roy Mink. I hope you have reunited with Bill and Doris in Heaven so they can thank you for the great life they shared together for over 65 years!
