Rose “Rosie” M. Behm

Rose “Rosie” Marie (Schossau) Behm

was born on February 12, 1942 in Wyandotte, Michigan and passed away at age 76 on July 11, 2018 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was the oldest child of Alfred Schossau and Frances Jelinski. She is survived by her sisters, Patricia (Patsy) Tvrdovsky (Joe), and Christina Forest, brothers Alfred Schossau and Tom Forest, and her daughter Mary Ellen Behm-Steinberg (Hugh). She was preceded in death by her ex-husband Robert G. Behm, brother Raymond Forest, nephew Scott Tvrdovsky, step-father Wilfred Forest and her parents. She also leaves behind her dog, Annie. She graduated from Melvindale High School and worked for the National Weather Service and Federal Aviation Administration. Rose enjoyed cross stitching, needlepoint and reading. She was a member of Mountain View Lutheran Church and Arizona Community Church. She was a volunteer with Lioness, Campfire Girls and Hospice. A celebration of life was held July 15.
