Graham, Roberta “Bobbie” Marie,

87 of Sun Lakes died peacefully at home the morning of October 30, 2016. Bobbie was born in Boone, Iowa December 2, 1928 to Gordon and Beatrice Irving.

She lived the first half of her life in the Midwest before moving to Arizona in 1973. She was a loving mother and homemaker prior to working at the Hayden Library on the campus of ASU. After her retirement, she enjoyed spending time at her cabin in Strawberry. She also enjoyed reading, bird watching, and occasional trips to the casinos to play her favorite penny slots. She lived a full and active life caring deeply about her faith, her family, and carrying on beloved family traditions. She was a dedicated Grandmother and called each and every one of them on the first of each month and never missed acknowledging birthdays and anniversaries.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Ernie and two sisters Janice Stevens and Mary Beth Peake. She is survived by her children, Robert (Cindy), Gary, Joni Haller (Tom), Christy Carson (Drew), Linda Graham (Kim Devine), brothers, Max Irving (Janice) and Larry Peake, 15 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral mass and celebration of her life will be held at St. Steven’s Catholic Church in Sun Lakes November 9th at 2:00 PM. Her inurnment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
