at home with his loving wife, Naomi, of 51 years by his side.
Born December 4, 1947, in Salinas, CA, to Ralph and Helen Mills, he was raised with his younger sisters Janice and Alice. He attended North Salinas High and later enlisted in the Navy serving in Hawaii, Japan, Philippines, and Vietnam, to name a few, from 1965 – 1968. During leave he was introduced to his future wife, Naomi Viado, through a blind date. He and Naomi were married in Salinas, CA on August 30, 1969.
Randy and Naomi started their family with their firstborn, James Aaron, in June 1971 and completed their family with Joy Ann in October 1975. They moved their family from Salinas, CA to Chandler, AZ in 1978 and later moved and retired in Mesa, AZ where he was later declared a Disabled Veteran in 2019.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Helen Mills. Randy is survived by his wife Naomi of Mesa, AZ, son James Mills and wife Marsha of Lubbock, TX, daughter Joy Clay and husband Scott of Gilbert, AZ, sisters Janice Williamson and Alice Chandler of Maricopa, AZ, brother Bill Mills of Geneseo, IL, and three grandchildren Drake Mills, Trista Mills, and Olivia Clay.
