Norbert Mendibles Jr.

, Age 60 was called to rest with God on November 14, 2020. He was born November 21, 1959, in Los Angeles, California. He came to Chandler, Arizona as a child where he spent most of his life. He joined the military at 17, then went on to spend the majority of his life working as a Roofing Supervisor. He most recently worked at Shamrock Foods where his strong work ethic made him a favorite of management and co-workers. He was known as “Ju-Ju” by friends and family till he was 20, but when he returned from the military he became known as “Mendy” (short for Mendibles) a nickname given to him by his fellow soldiers. Mendy was a gifted baseball player, an exceptional cook, and a big fan of the San Francisco 49er & Notre Dame football teams.  He was best known for his quick wit, sense of humor, and playful shenanigans. His joyful personality & big, caring heart made him loved by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents Norbert and Lucy Mendibles. He is survived by his daughter Shannon Mendibles, step-son Jason, sisters Sandra, Martha & Julie, grandchildren Marisa and Ryan Jr., & 16 nieces & nephews. He was a beloved father, brother, son, uncle, nephew & Godfather who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His final resting place is Valley of the Sun Cemetery, Chandler, Arizona.
