Margaret Marian Johnston
was born on August 28, 1937 in Phoenix, Arizona. She is the daughter of John J. Johnston Sr and Caroline Johnston. She was the oldest Sister of Joyce (Tom) Myers in Mims, Florida, Ruby (Ron) Harris of Winslow, Arizona, and Jim (Diane) Johnston of Chandler, Arizona. She was an Aunt to Jonathan and Caroline, Tedd, Fred, Ike and Teresa, and Darby, Brooke and Casey. She is also the Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Margaret was an Esteemed Nurse in the ER as well as many other different areas for over 40 years in Arizona, including Good Samaritan and the Mayo Clinic. Margaret also spent many years serving alongside the International Ministry at Church On Mill in Tempe, Arizona. She loved attending arts and crafts fairs, the Phoenix Symphony and plays at Gamage at ASU. Margaret loved pets and had a huge heart for those in need of a good home. She befriended many throughout her lifetime and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial service in her honor will be held at Bueler’s in Chandler on Thursday, July 12, 2018, including a 1:30pm visitation and a 2pm service followed by a burial at Valley of the Sun.
