Lois M. Davis
passed away on September 1,2017. She was born on May 6, 1924 in Cambridge, Illinois, and moved to Tucson, Arizona, in fall 1948 with her new husband, Joseph. His career with Mountain Bell took the couple to all corners of the Grand Canyon State, although Lois always had a special place in her heart for Flagstaff. A self-taught painter, she enjoyed an array of arts and crafts, crossword puzzles, big band music, and a good joke. She was known for her sweet tooth, but even more than chocolate, Lois adored her family. A devoted mother and beloved grandmother, she is survived by daughters Wendy Davis (Grady) and Donna Frank (Brian), 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and her brother, Bob Clark (Betty). Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Joseph, and their daughter Cheryl. Donations celebrating Lois’ life may be sent to the Wesley Community and Health Centers in Phoenix.
