, 83, entered into eternal life on Sunday, May 28, 2017. He is reunited in heaven with his bride of 53 years Sue Matlock
who preceded him in death. He is survived by his son David (Becca), his daughter, Jerri Sue Buchtel (Ron), his brother-in-law David Bogue, and sister-in-law Diane (Skip) Watkins. Grandchildren: Christopher Matlock, Jerame Schloss (Courtney), Amy Burton (Chuck), Mattie Matlock and Jessica Reeves (Kevin), 14 great grandchildren and 8 nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 10 am at the First United Methodist Church of Glendale, 7102 N. 58th Drive, Glendale Arizona. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Glendale Memorial Fund, or the American Cancer Society, 2929 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85012.
