Isis Elizabeth Ebright

Isis Elizabeth Ebright, age 13 of Maricopa, AZ, passed away at home on March 23, 2020. Isis was born March 30, 2006 in Chandler, AZ.

Isis loves her friends and family with fierce loyalty. She always looks out for others and never wants anyone to feel left out, alone or scared.

Isis is brave and strong (buts hates being called that). She fought Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia for three and a half years. Throughout her battle she always had a smile and positive attitude. She loved and was loved by so many of her nurses, doctors and staff at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Our family is deeply thankful to each and every one at PCH that has been a part of our journey.

Isis lives to dance. Dance is her happy place. No matter what else is going on in life or how hard dance practice was she would come out renewed and energized.

Our Icee Pop is smart, funny, and beautiful. She has always had her own sense of style, grace and wit. Her radiance attracted people to her and she has a way of making everyone feel loved and special.

Isis loves her brother Logan and he loves her. They loved being together and are the best of friends. They always look out for each other. They could spend hours talking and telling each other about their day, friends, hopes and dreams. They are the rock of each other’s foundations.

Isis has an unwavering belief and faith in her Heavenly Father. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she knows that families are together forever and we would all be reunited again. Isis was never worried or sad about leaving this mortal life. She only worried about those she would leave behind and the sadness that they would feel.

We miss her silly faces, funny puns, and snuggles so much. We miss the pure light and goodness that radiates from her smile. We cannot wait for the day we will be reunited as a forever family and get the biggest and best hug. We love you big too much forever and ever, and a little bit!

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of Isis’s life will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, Isis requested people give donations of blood, time or resources to the American Red Cross.  She did not want other kids like her to worry about life saving blood products. The Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation also has a special place in Isis’s heart for all that they do for childhood illness and supporting families.
