Glenn Patrick Howell
, a 30-year resident of Chandler, AZ passed away January 17, 2017 in Chandler. A native of Louisville, KY, he attended Millersburg Institute, and graduated from University of Louisville in environmental sciences. He earned a masters degree from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. He married Linda Lamar in 1982, and they enjoyed 35 years together. An Army veteran, he was employed by the US Army Corps of Engineers for over 30 years. He was employed in federal service for over 40 years, and was a lifetime member of the Disabled Veterans and the American Legion. He is survived by wife, Linda; daughter, Jennifer, both of Chandler; brothers, Charles Howell of Germany and Michael Howell of Texas, as well as many nieces and nephews (Melissa, Kim, Kelly, Lyndsey, Kyle, Amanda, Tanya, Alexander, and Mark) and many wonderful friends. Two brothers-in-law, Gary Lamar (Linda) and Bob Lamar (Larissa) also survive. Services are planned for Sat., Jan 21, at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Dr., in Chandler, with visitation at 2:00 pm and service at 2:30pm. Interment will be at Valley of the Sun Cemetery. A reception for family and friends will follow at 3801 E. Birchwood Place, Chandler, AZ 85249. Glenn’s family wishes to thank the ICU staff and nurses at Chandler Regional Medical Center for their wonderful and loving care.
