Frank Kubinski

Frank was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the youngest of 8 children on May 7, 1946.  He was received into heaven on July 20, 2020.  Growing up he helped out on the family farm, helped out at the family’s grocery store, and later on was a bartender at his family’s tavern.  He spent 20 years in the optical industry, owning his own contact lens manufacturing company, which he always looked back on with great fondness.   Frank met his wife Ruth in September or 1967 on a blind date.  They were married on June 21, 1969 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church and spent 48 wonderful years together.  Frank and Ruth supported each other through the good and the hard times.

Tired of shoveling snow, Frank and Ruth moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in December of 1984.  Shortly after moving to Arizona, Ruth became pregnant and they welcomed their daughter, Susan in September of 1985.  Frank worked for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul for many years, up until his retirement.  He served many roles there over the years, his last being the director of facilities and security.  He enjoyed working there and found the job very fulfilling.   In his free time, Frank enjoyed spending time with friends and family, playing computer games, going grocery shopping, watching FOX news, and spending time at the casino.   He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Frank is survived by daughter Susan, son in law, Bryan, and sisters Theresa and Annette, many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.   In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Phoenix Arizona chapter.
