, of Sun Lakes, Arizona passed away on the morning of April 26, 2018 with family by her side. Carolyn was born in 1934 to Lawrence Flint and Grace (Daybell) Flint in Salt Lake City, Utah. On July 16

, 1955 she was married to Richard Clayton Popkins the love of her life. Preceded in death by her husband Richard and grandson Jason. She is survived by her daughter Kerri (Jerry), son Kurt (Carrie), son Mike, grandchildren Shannon (Trevor), Jared, Kylie, Connor, Jack and great grandchildren Jamie, Lauren and Natalie. In 1982 they started a business, Southwest Aluminum Systems, Inc. Carolyn was a big part of the success of the company. Her accounting background and her character were a driving force in the success of the company until its sale in 2003. Carolyn was active in the LDS church and really enjoyed being a visiting teacher, playing the piano for her Ward and her visits to the Temple. She enjoyed many activities including playing golf, playing bridge and being a member of her Organ group and Players club. She had many friends because of her involvement in these groups. Most importantly she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and she will be remembered for the love she had for her family. Visitation will be Saturday, May 5

at 9:00AM at Bueler Mortuary and Chapel at 14 W Hulet Dr in Chandler 85225. Funeral service will follow at 10:00AM with burial following the service at the Mesa Cemetery.
