Alexander Nathaniel Vasquez-Soza

On August 5th, 2020, Alexander Nathaniel Vasquez-Soza received a higher calling of becoming the guardian angel to his beloved family. Alex is survived by his parents (Crissy and Jacob Soza), 2 brothers (Ezayah and Jakie), 5 sisters (Asiana, Natalya, Monique, Krislynn and Jasmine), 2 nieces (Lily and Iris), grandparents (Papa Chief, Grandma Lupe, Nani and Tati), along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Born on February 2, 2003, Alex was on his way to do great things as he just purchased a car, obtained his first job and earned his horns by being accepted into ASU. While he hated being called “Little BA”, due to his uncanny resemblance to Bruce Arians, he took it in stride by giving his famous smile that his family recalls as one of his best features. His siblings describe him as being “the kindest” of the 8 by “always putting others first” and being “selfless”. He was also known to have sarcastic humor while being genuine and true to his word. As said by his fellow gamers, “Level Up” Alex! You were a great son, brother, uncle, and friend and will be missed by many!

Alexander, you gave me the best 2 1/2 years a girl could ask for. You were definitely a light that this world will miss dearly. Thank you for the memories and happiness that you brought to my life. I miss you so so much. Sometimes I go to text you and tell you all about something funny I know you’d enjoy, I’m gonna miss our movie dates that turned into car rides and deep conversation about the future and life. I miss you tickling my sides to make me laugh, all your silly dances you’d do. I’m gonna miss you so much Xander. Thank you God for sending such a beautiful angel to walk into my life.

I remember the goofy faces, the dry humor, sarcastic comments, horsing around in the pool. But the most memorable thing I remember about you is your smile and the willingness to help other people. i was actually looking forward to showing you some hands on trades that you could have used. You will be missed Fyi look over your family and keep them safe young man.

I had the pleasure of meeting Alex only once….yet his big brother Jacob talked of him often when we worked together. Alex was truly loved by Jacob it was so evident in the way he talked about him. Sending love and prayers of comfort to the Sosa family.
